LingoBiu Privacy Policy

LingoBiu (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an iPhone app that helps you import learning reports from English conversations, organize learning, and schedule review. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Data We Process
Learning Data
Learning reports you import, including conversation content, vocabulary, patterns, corrections, learning progress, review history, and favorites, are stored on your device by default. Imported content may contain personal information that you provide to the app. Please import only content that you are authorized to handle.
App Preferences and Reminders
We store your language preference, appearance preference, learning settings, and reminder settings on your device. Study reminders are delivered locally by your device and do not require us to receive reminder content.
iCloud Sync Data
If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is available on your device, LingoBiu may use Apple CloudKit to sync learning data among your own Apple devices. This sync depends on your Apple Account and Apple’s iCloud service. You can stop future sync by signing out of iCloud, disabling the relevant iCloud functionality, or not using the app on another device.
Feedback You Choose to Submit
When you choose to submit feedback, we receive:
- the feedback message you provide;
- images you choose to attach, up to three images;
- app version, app language, device system version, and device model; and
- the time of submission.
We use this information to respond to support requests, investigate issues, and improve the product. Please do not include passwords, government IDs, payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information in feedback.
2. How We Use Data
We use the data described above only to:
- display and manage learning, review, and practice plans on your devices;
- sync your learning data when you enable iCloud;
- handle feedback you initiate, diagnose issues, and improve the product; and
- maintain the operation and security of the app.
LingoBiu does not provide advertising, conduct cross-app tracking, sell personal information, or provide in-app AI conversations.
3. Storage and Sharing
Learning data is stored on your device by default. When iCloud is enabled, the related sync data is processed through Apple CloudKit. Feedback data is submitted to LingoBiu’s feedback database so that the developer can handle it.
Except for services needed to provide iCloud sync and handle feedback, we do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes. Apple’s handling of iCloud and CloudKit is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.
4. Your Choices and Deletion
You can delete learning reports and learning content in the app. After local deletion, corresponding synced content may require an internet connection and a completed sync before changes appear on your other devices.
Feedback and images are optional. If you want us to delete feedback you have submitted, or if you have another privacy question, contact the developer through Contact & Feedback in the app. Please provide the submission date and identifiable feedback content so that we can locate the record. We will process reasonable requests once we can verify the record.
5. Data Security
We use measures appropriate to the scale of the product to protect data. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Please protect your device and Apple Account, and avoid importing sensitive information into learning reports or submitting it through feedback.
6. Children
LingoBiu is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has submitted personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us using the method below.
7. Changes to This Policy
If our data practices materially change, we will update the date and content of this policy. Your continued use of the updated app indicates that you have reviewed the updated policy.
